My role in Customer Experience is very new to both me and my organization and what I learnt at the workshop is extremely beneficial and useful, especially the emphasis placed on getting a Successful Customer Outcome. The techniques that I learnt has not only taught me how to identify impacts and causes of failure but also, how to prioritize incidences in my processes that needs to be either drastically improved or immediately removed. Taking the emotion and articulating it into a process, very skilful technique.
This workshop has challenged the way I think, and taught me to think innovatively, essentially to reframe my boundaries, and I think that’s important to stay ahead of the game.
The level of after sales support (if I can call it that) has been phenomenal! I appreciate the effort and time that they took to ensure that I understand the concepts and techniques that they taught, they have really exceeded my expectations!

This is now my 2nd time attending the CEW London event, if you take your business (and yourself) seriously, invest in the time and go along to the next one, it's one of the friendliest 'conferences' I've been to (I attend quite a few!) lots of notes and direct action taken since attending.
I have had the pleasure of working with Maggie Wheeler and the Focus Group team over 8 years now, mainly on the their customer focused events. During this time I have seen CEW grow from being one annual event to a series of events around the globe. Maggie Wheeler is responsible for arranging the best customer experience conference in the UK over the last couple of years! Her expertise at arranging world class venues is impressive, but her ability to convince the most admired and informed customer experience experts from around the globe to present is the real key to the success of their events (such as ECEW and WCCF). If you work in the world of customer experience, and want to either attend an event, or have someone pull something together for you, Maggie and the Focus Group are the very best.

Thank you for the opportunity to present at CEW Johannesburg. I was also enriched by the presentations I listened to, which definitely added value. The strongest theme for me, and a definite value added take away, is that the transactional service excellence/service quality that we have been striving after for years, are now a “given”. The customer of the future is here today and is demanding far more than basic transactions – they want a relationship and they want their service providers to be adding something to their lives. All powered by the steroids of social media and connectivity.
I left with valuable insights to implement in our own business...we're still speaking about the conference, which in itself, is a sign that it had an impact.

I was a speaker at the ECEW 2011 event that Maggie organized. The event was spectacular! Not only is this a conference about customer experience, it is a true experience about what good customer experience really meant.

It was an enjoyable, thought provoking and very inspirational event. The speakers spoke in detail and passion about the journeys they undertook to get their CX to where it was. The tools and key take-aways they shared were all tangible and I will be incorporating some into our CX strategy.
